JOBee is an innovative start-up IT company that has developed a platform that works with the help of artificial intelligence and connects employers with job candidates.
"We have a great potential for fruitful cooperation", said the rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov and added: "The platform that "JOBee" offers will bring added value to both students and businesses. On the one hand, it will enable employers to search for the staff they need, with appropriate education and with an accurate profile of specialization, and on the other hand, for students to find the right job in their specialty."
Kaloyan Ivanov, who is also a PhD student at UNSS, thanked Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov for the initiative to sign the agreement and emphasized: "The JOBee platform is an innovative startup operating with the help of artificial intelligence." It’s idea, apart from the standard functions that similar sites, platforms and recruitment agencies offer, is precisely that the most suitable talents find the most suitable employers and their place to develop. The platform allows when a candidate registers, he not only searches for a job suitable for him and views a set of advertisements and tries to assess what is suitable for him, but the platform itself, through artificial intelligence, will constantly send him recommendations for positions, which correspond to his qualification'.
The document states that UNWE and JOBee will cooperate by informing UNWE students about internships and public events, which will present the work of JOBee.
The scope of the memorandum also includes the exchange of information and publications about activities and more important events held by "JOBee” and UNWE and assistance for the participation of company representatives in presentations to students, in lectures, seminars, conferences, meetings or in other events organized by the university.
An opportunity for partnership in the preparation of joint projects and their subsequent implementation and assistance in conducting training in bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs at UNWE for specialists and employees from “JOBee” is also foreseen.
The company will assist in the participation of teachers and other representatives of UNWE in meetings, lectures, examinations, consultations, statistical and other studies and events organized by JOBee.
Cooperation through mutual assistance in conducting other specific activities and events, such as academies and participation in start-up companies, are also part of the agreement.
The coordinator of the implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation on the part of UNWE is Prof. Dr. Noncho Dimitrov, Deputy Dean for Quality and International Cooperation of the Faculty "Economics of Infrastructure" and Scientific Secretary of the Department "National and Regional Security", and from “JOBee” it’s Kaloyan Ivanov.
Prof. Dr. Tsvetana Stoyanova, vice-rector for institutional and business cooperation and student policies, was present at the signing by UNWE.
